The hottest brands like Oakley and Maui Jim make some of the best designer sunglasses for women, however, these sunglasses come with an enormous price tag. It’s unreasonable to spend two or even three hundred dollars on a pair of sunglasses, so instead of opting for one of the high end designer brands, check out Angel eyewear. While Angel is a less renowned brand when compared to a name like Oakley or Maui Jim, the sunglasses often have a similar look and also have the polarized lenses that make them worth the money.

Angel eyewear provides great value, and is still amongst the best in both fashion and function. While not available from many designer sunglasses retailers (due to the inexpensive price relative to more renowned brands), Angel eyewear is available at several locations online. Get a new set of Angel sunglasses now and be prepared for the heart of summer when the sun’s rays are sure to be shining!

The Importance of Polarized Lenses

While most people base their selection of sunglasses on their visual aesthetic, there is a clear beneficial difference between some sunglasses. The truth is, a lot of cheap sunglasses aren’t polarized, which means that the sunglasses aren’t deflecting the sun’s harmful rays. When the eyes are exposed to the sun’s harmful rays all the time, it can cause damage over the course of the lifetime. Thus, some sunglasses aren’t offering all that much protection. It’s important to choose sunglasses that have polarized lenses, as these sunglasses do protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Polarized sunglasses are most often available from designer brands, but don’t expect to pay the same $5 for designer sunglasses as one would at a curbside stand. Designer sunglasses can be expensive, however, there are several designer brands that offer more affordable sunglasses than the big names. Just like fashion, much of the reason for the cost is the brand name itself. Mens designer sunglasses from brands like Coyote and Ocean Waves are a great value, and also have polarized lenses.

There Are Sunglasses, and Then There Are Shades

On an especially bright day, we can all appreciate the functionality of a reliable pair of sunglasses. But the second we step indoors or the sun goes down, that pair of glare-reducing sunglasses transforms into the phenomenon known as “shades.” Shades have become the stuff of legend through movies and other forms of mass entertainment; they allow the wearer to add a layer of effortless cool.

Arnold Schwarzenegger implemented shades to spectacular effect in “The Terminator.” Tom Cruise donned an iconic pair of shades in “Risky Business” and then went on to show off some aviators in “Top Gun.” But movie characters aren’t the only ones to gain a boost of charisma from sunglasses. They are the mark of the teenage rebel and the high-powered corporate executive. Sunglasses convey an attitude unlike any other piece of eyewear.
